I joined them on a jaunt to Seattle last Summer up to the national Veterans for Peace conference at UW in Seattle. I taped several presentations, and we shot a bunch of show length interviews. Mostly, I ran camera, but we split the interviewing work as well, and I got to interview 3 great guests: John Perkins, Anthony Arnove and Dahr Jamail.

We figured that we’d find a room or hallway somewhere to shoot the programs, but it was so nice out, we quickly reached consensus that outdoors would be way better. We couldn’t have found an more ideal shady bench in the midst of a stunning, haunting and beautiful installation of Arlington Northwest that filled the quad-like area.

This first one is especially interesting- because its an unusual topic these days: the weaponization of space.
