Social Justice Documentation Packages
I offer the following documentation packages, at my option, to not-for-profits, community groups or individuals. By committing a little bit of money in your budget, you make it possible for me to put your project in my priority queue and apply all of my available resources.
• In addition to the package prices, I’ll need any miscellaneous expenses paid such as admission to the event and parking.
• Available for domestic and international travel from Olympia, WA with expenses covered.
• A second camera can be added at any point for the same price as the first.
• All packages that include editing are eligible for online hosting of finished project on popular video web sites
Payment:
• For projects that conclude at the shoot, payment is due immediately.
• If post-production is involved, 50% is due at the first shoot, and the remaining balance is due upon product delivery.
The Grass Roots $50-$100 (sliding scale)
• single camera shoot - half day (a two hour event takes a half day to shoot)
• Camera Tapes Delivered or Archived upon request.

The Indy Journal $100-$300 (sliding scale)
• single camera shoot - half day (a two hour event takes a half day to shoot)
• editing - half to one day - create report with interviews and voice over

The Non-Profit $250-$300 (sliding scale)
• single camera shoot - half day $50-100
• editing- 1 day $200
• graphics include open and close plus locator and name lower thirds.

DVD Duplication
I offer DVD-R duplication up to 1000 units. Duplicated discs work in almost all DVD players, go down in quality over 60 minutes.
Beyond 1000, I send out the program for replication- like DVDs in video stores.
For these social justice, issue, and political pieces, I like to discuss copyright and ownership up front- before the project begins. In general, what a customer is buying is a finished product. Unless otherwise contracted, the materials I use to create that product belong to me. I’m willing to archive camera originals, masters and other materials as my hope is to make media available to other filmmakers and organizations at my own discretion.
